Brigadier Syed Zulfiqar Ali is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Pak Datacom since 5 Aug 2020. Has an apt experience of IT and Telecommunications, Management and Business Development, both in Government and Corporate Sector. He has been decorated with President’s Pride of Performance on account of great contribution of National Significance.
Mr. Ahmad Rafiq has undertaken various posts during 18 plus years of work experience, which require high level professional expertise, communication, interpersonal and interpretive skills. His competencies include Accounting (In Public and Private Sector), Auditing (Internal & External), Financial Management & Data Analysis, Monitoring and Evaluation, Reporting, Internal Controls & Risk Management, and Senior Business Analysis. This is best demonstrated by his experience with Ernst & Young-Global Chartered accountants (Pakistan Office) ,as well as his subsequent experience with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan as Assistant Director Internal Audit. Mr. Ahmad Rafiq has also worked in World Bank funded & Administered project as Senior Business Analyst /Audit Expert for the Project to Improve Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Auditing in Pakistan. Mr. AHmad Rafiq has also served as Manager Finance & Accounts in a US-based Multinational 'INNEXIV Inc.' He is currently serving as Chief Financial Officer in Pak Datacom.
Mr. Naeem Rao joined Pak Datacom Limited (PDL) on August 22, 1994 as Assistant HR.
He has gained vast experience in HR & admin through these years and attained to the designation of GM (A & HR) through sheer diligence and dedication to the company. He has also held the additional charge as company secretary, as well as Secretary Human Resource & Remuneration (HR&R) Committee, for certain periods.
Mr. Muhammad Masood ur Rehman joined Pak Datacom Limited on February 26, 2013 as a Head of Internal Audit and Secretary Audit Committee. He is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and member of ICMAP-Pak, PIPFA-Pak, AIA-UK, Member IIA Global. He has a vast experience on of Finance & Accounting, Pre-Auditing, and Internal Auditing both in private and public sector. He has served in textile sector (spinning, weaving, and trading) and also worked in a consulting role for a reputable business concern. He has an overall experience of more than 20 years including PQE of 15 years.
Mr. Junaid Alam has been associated with Pak Datacom since Sep 2002. He has brought immense experience from USA after working for Global Telcos like MCI Worldcom in Dallas Texas. Based on his exposure to Data Network Business, he started off with PDL in Business Development Department and was instrumental in Sales and Provisioning of major Networks. Besides various Technical Certifications and Trainings, he has done MBA in Business Management. He is also associated with prestigious Project Management Institute (PMI USA) through which he is Certified as Project Management Professional (PMP # 1628183). Currently he is deputed as General Manager (South) and is responsible for handling all functions related to Business, Operations, Admin / HR as well as Legal Affairs in PDL South - Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur & Quetta.
Mr. Saeed Arain is a professional engineer having the following qualifications: M.S Electronics Engineering, MSC in Telecom, BS Electrical & Electronics Engineering, BSC Computer System and MBA. He has been the project manager of many high-performing technical operations. He has management expertise of more than 26 years with PDL in multi- disciplined exposure in field of IT , Telecom, Data Communications, Wire line Access Networking , Radio Access Networks, Optical Fiber , Satellite Communications, VSAT, Network Operations & Maintenance, Technical Procurement.
Mr. Ali Saleem Rana is serving as Company Secretary of Pak Datacom Limited (PDL) since December 22, 2021. Earlier, he has held the same position from December 2015 to December 2016. He is also the Secretary of Procurement Committee and Nomination Committee of PDL.
He has a colossal association with PDL which dates back to Sep 2002, when joined the Company as Manager (Internal Audit) after relinquishing his job at Telecom Foundation as Assistant Manager Finance. Prior to this he has worked as Assistant Manager Credit at FedEx Pakistan in their Karachi Head Office. Overall he has rich integrated working experience of 25 years. He has extensive hands on experience in the Admin, HR and Store departments of PDL, while he has also been assigned the task to handle legal matters as well.
He did his Master’s in Business Administration with a Finance major as a pioneer of SZABIST in 1997. He has also obtained Certificate of Director Education from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG) in Nov 2012 successfully fulfilling the requirements of Corporate Governance Leadership Skills (CGLS).
